Explore the famous Bamyan Valley and the ancient Buddha niches carved into the cliffs, discover local communities and enjoy the surrounding highland landscapes. A highlight of the journey is a visit to Band-e Amir, Afghanistan’s celebrated national park, where deep-blue lakes are surrounded by striking limestone cliffs and open mountain scenery. Travel from Kabul towards the central highlands and Bamyan. After arrival, explore the Bamyan Valley, the ancient Buddha niches and surrounding historical landscape.
