The journey then continues into the central highlands toward Bamyan, a region known for its peaceful valleys, mountain scenery and remarkable archaeological heritage. Explore the famous Bamyan Valley and the ancient Buddha niches carved into the cliffs, discover local communities and enjoy the surrounding highland landscapes. A highlight of the journey is a visit to Band-e Amir, Afghanistan’s celebrated national park, where deep-blue lakes are surrounded by striking limestone cliffs and open mountain scenery.
